Delicious ingots of 90% dark chocolate made with criollo cocoa from the Amazonas region, in the Bagua area of Peru. The first cocoa of which there is evidence of consumption as early as 3,000 B.C. A "native" and spontaneous cocoa, still cultivated by Amazonian populations in the wild and unexplored areas. Strong notes of cocoa and fresh fruit, consistent bitterness for a never aggressive and long lasting finish. This plantation in north-west Peru has a very small production of exceptional quality. We have selected this cocoa for its uniqueness and strong, persistent but never intrusive taste.
